Cod & Bum Custom Clothier was founded by Alex, a designer with over a decade of experience creating garments for New York Fashion Week, Times Square productions, Broadway, and major television including RuPaul’s Drag Race and Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Originally established in New York City, Alex built their reputation on precision-fit, custom corsetry and historically informed construction. That legacy continues today through bespoke commissions designed to sculpt, support, and transform the body with both comfort and drama.

The name Cod & Bum draws inspiration from two foundational Elizabethan undergarments: the codpiece and the bum roll. Playful yet rooted in historical dress, the name reflects the brand’s balance of education, theatricality, and craftsmanship.
